This barrel racing originated at the rodeos in the old west of America. Especially for the cowgirls so they also had their own entertainment, which was also exciting for the spectators.... No one expected that this barrel race would grow into one of the greatest western sports in the USA. The Barrel Race is a fantastic sport with incredibly good horses that can turn and turn at full speed. It takes a lot of horsemanship, training and technique to control your horse at high speed. Even short turning and keeping balance is definitely not easy. It gives a lot of sensation and the public is always wildly enthusiastic.
